How to Make a Marshmallow Valentine Ornament with Air Dry Foam Clay

Prepare your workspace and gather all supplies.
Paint your styrofoam block using acrylic paints and allow it to dry completely.
Using air dry foam clay, press the clay into the ice cream scoop silicone mold to create the top scoop shape.
Apply clear glue to the top of the styrofoam block and place the scoop on top. Gently shape and adjust it using your hands or a paintbrush handle to fit.
Create a rope detail using air dry foam clay and the rope silicone mold.
Apply glue around the edge where the scoop meets the base, then attach the rope detail all the way around.
Insert a toothpick into the top of the scoop, pushing slightly into the base for support.
Add a small amount of glue to the top of the toothpick and place a small ball of air dry foam clay on top to create the “marshmallow hat.” Make sure the toothpick is fully covered.
Create heart embellishments using air dry foam clay and the heart mold.
Attach the hearts to the scoop using clear glue.
Apply a small amount of super glue to the back of the resin eyes and place them onto the styrofoam base to create the face.
Using a hot glue gun and glue sticks, add decorative glue drips under the rope detail.
Create a small mouth using air dry foam clay and attach it to the front with glue.
Apply glue where desired and sprinkle with fine glitter for a sparkly finish.
Allow the entire piece to dry completely (24–48 hours).
Create a small hole at the top and insert a hook and eye. Add ribbon or string to turn it into a hanging ornament.
